Suhagra 50 MG Tablet relaxes the smooth muscles present in the wall of blood vessels and helps in increasing the flow of blood in certain specific areas of the body. It is used for the treatment of erection disorders and Pulmonary Hypertension (high blood pressure of blood vessels connecting the lungs and the heart).
In addition to its intended effect, Suhagra 50 MG Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately.

The effect of this medicine can be observed within 30 to 120 minutes after administration. The onset of action may vary from one patient to another.

Safe with alcohol?
Use of alcohol should be avoided or kept to a minimal level while you are taking Suhagra 50 MG Tablet. Symptoms like dizziness, fainting, flushing, persistent headaches should be reported to the doctor.

What is it prescribed for?
Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is used for the treatment of impotence; where achieving and sustaining an erection is a problem while having sexual intercourse. However, it will work only if there is sexual stimulation.
Pulmonary arterial hypertension
Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure of arteries present in the lungs and right side of the heart. It also improves exercise capacity in such patients.
When not to use?
Allergy : Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have a history of allergy to sildenafil or any other component of this medicine.
Nitrate containing medicines : Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is not recommended if you are using any medicine containing nitrates.
Riociguat : Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you are consuming a medicine named Riociguat (Popular trade name is Adempas).
Report the incidence of any disease of the heart and blood vessel to the doctor. Use of Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is not recommended in such patients especially who are advised to refrain from any sexual activity due to the risk of adverse effects on the heart.
Report the incidence of any kidney disease to the doctor. Use of Suhagra 50 MG Tablet is not recommended in patients having severe kidney impairment. If the impairment is mild then this medicine can be used with suitable dose adjustments.
Report the incidence of prolonged and painful erection to the doctor. This may be due to underlying conditions such as sickle cell anemia, leukemia or deformation of the penis. The risk of permanent tissue (penis) damage is high in such patients and hence caution is advised while administering Suhagra 50 MG Tablet.
Disease of the retinaMODERATE
Suhagra 50 MG Tablet should be used with caution in patients suffering from a disorder of the retina in which color discrimination is impaired. Use of this medicine should be avoided in this cases.
