How To Take Optipress Eye Drop?

To apply the medication, tilt the head upwards and pull the lower eyelid down to form a pouch. Hold the dropper directly over the affected eye and place one drop into the pouch. Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Place a finger at the inside corner of the eye and apply gentle pressure to prevent the medication from draining out. Repeat the process for each eye if so directed or if your dose is more than 1 drop.

Hypersensitivity to Optipres Eye Drops is a contraindication. In addition, Optipres Eye Drops should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Animal bites
- Bradycardia (heart rate lower than 60)
- Cardiogenic shock
- Children less than two years of age
- Deep puncture wounds
